A picturesque beach scene with tall, slender palm trees swaying gently in the breeze against a vibrant blue sky. The pristine white sand stretches out towards the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the ocean. In the foreground, a lone woman is captured mid-jump, her body arched gracefully as she embraces a palm tree trunk, her long hair flowing freely behind her. The tranquil setting and the woman's carefree pose exude a sense of freedom, joy, and harmony with nature.

The Paradox of Dying to Self

I heard this concept the other day. The paradox of death. - It sounds morbid but hang with me. The more we die to ourselves: our selfishness, desires, etc. the more our heart beats for people around us and the happier we will be. - This concept flies in the face of the narcissistic culture we live in where competing to do the best thing for yourself is the ultimate goal. Buying the best things, going onthe best trips, hanging with the best people, having the best job etc is supposed to produce joy right? - Except it doesn’t. It’s been proven time and time again that those things may produce happiness, but it’s short lived. True joy is achieved through a counterintuitive approach. Making others happy is the best way to make yourself happy. Not with ulterior motives, but with a true desire to serve. - Are you willing you die to yourself in return for long term joy? - Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - • • • • • • #hawaii #passionpassport #nakedhawaii #eclectic_shotz #earthfocus #sunset #adventureculture #nature #earthpix #neverstopexploring #stayandwander #travel #awesomeearth #旅行 #sonyalpha #soft_vision #roamtheplanet #beautifuldestinations #bestvacations #ourplanetdaily #景色 #travelstoke #自然
