The Difference Between Hobbyists and Pro Photographers
Here’s the difference 👇
Every aspiring pro photographer gets faced with similar situations but the difference between a hobbyist and a pro is that…
The hobbyist refuses to do the hard and boring things while
The pro does it anyway despite being hard or boring.
The truth is social media typically only shows the fun parts of the job.
You know shooting, staying at cool places, adventures etc.
But it doesn’t show you what’s required to actually get paid to do these things (which is why most people struggle to get paid).
You have to withstand a lot of rejection, learn sales and marketing, build decks, review contracts, onboard clients, do revisions, strategy calls, etc.
Idk about you but I don’t see too many “creator gurus” talking about the stuff that actually makes the business a business lol.
So many people optimize and fantasize about the fun parts of the job while being completely ignorant to what makes it work.
And if you enjoy being a hobbyist than by all means continue doing what you’re doing, but if you want to create a real career then I’d love to show you how.
