The Difference Between Fame and Greatness
One of the most tragic misunderstandings in our world is the difference between famous and greatness. -
Nowadays everyone is trying to be known for something and to them, to be known is to be great. This could not be further from the truth. You see famous is self serving. Famous is I’m going to take care of me, and make sure I get to the top so that everyone can see me. Greatness on the other hand is self sacrifice. Greatness is putting your own self on the line to help another person. And the best part is, you don’t have to be famous to be great. Sometimes it’s actually better to stay under the radar for your own egos sake. -
In fact there are millions of greats that you wouldn’t even know their name, but you feel their effects in your everyday life. -
Quick example, most of you wouldn’t know my parents from Adam but a lot of you have felt their effect on your life through some of the things I do. They instilled positive Biblical morals into me and now I am trying to share that with as many people as I can and for some I’ve personally talked to and it’s made a difference. It’s not cause of me. It’s because of what they introduced me too. -
But nowadays there’s so many people trying to gain influence with no meaning behind it. They put their life’s efforts into getting noticed yet still have very few people that know anything about them besides what they look like or own or do. Some may even have millions of “followers” but at the end of the day, who cares who follows you if you can’t impact the people that know you most. -
Maybe the reason no one will remember you is because you have done nothing to be remembered by. They don’t need to know my name but they should feel the effects of my presence on this planet for decades to come. -
Be blessed and stay stoked😎🤙
