Stop Attributing Success to Luck

The word “lucky” is one of the most disabling words in the English language. It eludes that fate allowed someone to achieve a certain outcome and therefore because you don’t have the same outcome you must not have the same external forces helping you along. Ultimately it’s an excuse for laziness. What if instead of accusing people of being lucky, we took a deeper look and see exactly what they were doing to achieve that “luck” 99x out of 100 they already put in their 10,000 hrs of practice to perfect a skill and put themselves in situations to “get lucky” Instead of taking the easy route, blaming success on luck, and ruling yourself out because of it, break down why people have opportunities that they have. Sure some people may have been born into different situations but every situation is a blessing and a curse. Ultimately it’s your prerogative to find a skill that you’re good at and create your own luck. Be blessed and stay stoked😎🤙 • • • • • •
