Stay Focused on Your Passion

Don’t give yourself too many options. - One of the biggest fallacies ingrained in our heads as kids is the idea of having a “plan b.” - Have you ever noticed? Typically the plan A is something exciting and fun like a pro sports player, business owner, actor, etc. and the plan b is usually something more “safe” and often times less interesting to us. When we’re kids, people ask us what we want to be when we grow up and we’re stoked to answer with our dream job. - But somewhere down the line the idea of playing it safe is introduced, and to be fair, it’s most often done with good intentions, but it’s detrimental to a lot of dreams. We start thinking that our original passion was stupid and unrealistic so we may as well settle for this sub par option. - Don’t give yourself the option. When you only have one option, you significantly increase your focus and ability to succeed. Options create distractions and distractions make you fall into the lowest common denominator, aka “plan b.” - Don’t give yourself the opportunity to slide to plan b. Force yourself to succeed at what you actually enjoy and you will thank yourself later. - Be blessed and stay stoked😎🤙
