Persevering Through the Grind with Purpose
Most people don’t quit cause of the big stuff. Most people quit because of the grind. -
It’s the little frustrating everyday things that drive people insane. Sure some people may quit because of a major financial struggle or relational struggle, but in most cases it’s the waking up early, having the discipline to tune out distraction, dealing with people’s negativity and doubt, working an extra 15 minutes, writing one more email, and constantly setting and hitting goals that makes people pursue an easier option. -
So how do you combat that? A lot of people say to follow your passion, and that’s great, but that’s not a sufficient answer when you’re not seeing results and trying to make ends meet. -
You have to have a purpose that drives your action. Passion isn’t necessarily a purpose. It can be but they are not always the same. A purpose beyond yourself will drive you to keep going when the annoying things seem to be too much. A purpose will allow you to tune out the haters and distractions. And ultimately a purpose will drive you to success but only if you let it. Don’t let the grind get the best of you. Put a purpose on it! -
Be blessed and stay stoked😎🤙
