Not All Criticism is Hate

Not everyone who criticizes you is a hater. - I know we love to talk about our haters and how we’re gonna prove wrong or shut em out, but what if they’re not haters? What if they are offering wise council and what you are doing is actually extremely dumb? - I think sometimes our egos get in the way and we can’t actually see our actions for what they are. All we see is that we are gonna do it and no one can stop us and anyone who stands in the way is a hater and that’s simply not true. - The key is to differentiate wise council from meaningless noise. I have a few people in my life that I will genuinely take advice from. Not that I won’t from other people, but I have a filter because I know these people have mindsets in line with what my purpose is in life or have an expertise on a subject so if and when they offer advice or criticism, it’s not out of jealousy, but out of a heart to help. - If you feel like you have haters, great that’s a good step that means you are doing something, but make sure to have critics that have your best interest in mind on your side because not all criticism is hate. - Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - • • • • • •
