How to Get Brands to Pay for Your Content

How she did it šŸ‘‡ šŸ›‘ First off, if you want the full breakdown Iā€™m dropping a training later this week so comment ā€œLICENSEā€ for more info. Ok, plug over haha I hear it more and more šŸ˜ ā€œBrands donā€™t want to payā€ ā€œI can only get free tradesā€ ā€œNo one values content anymoreā€ Before you say that again just scroll through my page and look at our client wins highlight. Thereā€™s overwhelming proof that brands do in fact pay (and pay well) So whatā€™s the real issue? You arenā€™t pitching something they actually need or want. Saying I can make some videos for you is like saying I can come cut your grass. Someone will only be willing to pay you if they actually NEED the grass cut and even then they could probably find someone to do it for cheaper. Youā€™re in a race to the bottom and you canā€™t go lower than 0. Why? Because content creators are a dime a dozen these days. So how did Sofi charge $1200 for photos that were just sitting on her Instagram? LICENSING She found a way to pitch the content that was a no brainer value add to the client (and would easily help them land multi million dollar contracts) That $1200 was a complete no brainer write off for the company. But catch this. The value someone is willing to pay is in direct proportion to the value they can stand to receive. If the value they get is a few fancy videos, that might not be worth a dime to a company. Sorry to say it but itā€™s true. But if the value of the video is that they can leverage it to make more sales and you can prove that to be true, the same video has a significantly higher perceived value. And perception is reality! If you want to learn how to do this for yourself Iā€™m dropping a free license training later this week for just my newsletter subscribers. So if you want access to that when it drops comment ā€œLICENSEā€ and Iā€™ll send you more info. Be blessed and stay stoked šŸ˜ŽšŸ¤™
