How to Get Brands to Pay for Your Content
How she did it š
š First off, if you want the full breakdown Iām dropping a training later this week so comment āLICENSEā for more info.
Ok, plug over haha
I hear it more and more š
āBrands donāt want to payā
āI can only get free tradesā
āNo one values content anymoreā
Before you say that again just scroll through my page and look at our client wins highlight. Thereās overwhelming proof that brands do in fact pay (and pay well)
So whatās the real issue?
You arenāt pitching something they actually need or want.
Saying I can make some videos for you is like saying I can come cut your grass.
Someone will only be willing to pay you if they actually NEED the grass cut and even then they could probably find someone to do it for cheaper. Youāre in a race to the bottom and you canāt go lower than 0.
Why?
Because content creators are a dime a dozen these days.
So how did Sofi charge $1200 for photos that were just sitting on her Instagram?
LICENSING
She found a way to pitch the content that was a no brainer value add to the client (and would easily help them land multi million dollar contracts)
That $1200 was a complete no brainer write off for the company.
But catch this. The value someone is willing to pay is in direct proportion to the value they can stand to receive.
If the value they get is a few fancy videos, that might not be worth a dime to a company. Sorry to say it but itās true.
But if the value of the video is that they can leverage it to make more sales and you can prove that to be true, the same video has a significantly higher perceived value.
And perception is reality!
If you want to learn how to do this for yourself Iām dropping a free license training later this week for just my newsletter subscribers.
So if you want access to that when it drops comment āLICENSEā and Iāll send you more info.
Be blessed and stay stoked šš¤
