Hope in Humble Beginnings

Merry Christmas guys! - For a lot of people this is the happiest time of the year. I know for me it’s awesome cause I get to be home and see my family who I rarely see. But for others it’s the toughest time. It might bring up bad memories or sad memories. - I think the Christmas story offers hope in so many areas but one of the craziest ones that I’ve learned recently is this... just because you’re born into a bad situation, doesn’t mean God can’t turn it to good. - Check it out. Most people don’t realize this but Jesus was born to a Virgin, which first of all is impossible, and Mary should have been stoned to death for having sex outside of marriage. She was only 13 and Joseph was likely in his 30s, hardly the ideal start. They had to travel back to Joseph’s home town and there was no spot to stay so they had to give birth to Jesus in a cave and put him in a feed tough. Giving birth in an unsanitary area is extremely dangerous, let alone uncomfortable. On top of that he had the ruler of the world at that time, Herod, wanting not only Jesus killed but every boy under the age of 2. - If you think you were born into bad circumstances with a disadvantage, check out what happened. Despite all these disadvantages, Jesus went on to be the savior of the world. The savior came from a stall. - The context of salvation is that it started in a stable. He wasn’t a trust fund kid, he wasn’t given a kingdom to rule. The context of every big thing God is going to do in your life is that it starts small and seemingly insignificant, but with faith, grows into something bold, strong, and beautiful. - I encourage you this Christmas to find that faith. Even if it’s small and seemingly insignificant. It doesn’t matter because God can take that seed and turn it into a tree. Merry Christmas. - Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - • • • • • • #hawaii #passionpassport #nakedhawaii #eclectic_shotz #earthfocus #sunset #adventureculture #nature #earthpix #neverstopexploring #stayandwander #travel #awesomeearth #旅行 #sonyalpha #soft_vision #roamtheplanet #beautifuldestinations #bestvacations #ourplanetdaily #景色 #travelstoke #自然
