Don’t let your days determine your life, let you life determine your days. - I’m reading through this book with Abby called the Book of mysteries. It basically uncovers a lot of the Hebrew history and meaning behind the Bible that you don’t get with an English translation and it’s fascinating and incredibly awe inspiring, but in reading yesterday we came upon that line and we both paused to really take it in. - I think a lot of us go through life randomly without an aim and hope to hit something. Sometimes I feel like that. Although I have a direction of where I’m going, sometimes I feel like my crazy spontaneity can lead me all over. When you have too much of that, it determines your life. Without a plan for your direction you often accomplish nothing. Your days determine your life, so if your days are all over your life will be less focused. - But if your life determines your days, then that’s when you can start to have a lot of meaning and purpose behind what you do. Now instead of aimlessly wandering, everything you do, everyday leads you in the direction of that life goal. - For me it’s two fold... to help others accomplish and live their best lives, and to share and be Christ to everyone I meet. Yes they are broad and general but they are still guiding pillars in my life that I base all my decisions on. It determines my days, or at least that’s the goal. - Let your life mission determine your days and live with intention.
