Embrace the Ordinary for the Epic

What’s your attitude toward ordinary? - I think sometimes we have a seriously skewed concept of it. We think it’s boring, or beneath us, or not highlight worthy so we either 1 ignore it, 2 try to avoid it or 3 mumble through it. But what if we are missing out on the epic because we don’t embrace the basic? - I’ll use a real life example. I’m blessed to be able to do a lot of really epic stuff, but what you don’t see is the mundane ordinary stuff I do in order to be able to open opportunities for the epic. Things like email, edit revisions, negotiating, these are all pretty ordinary things, but if I were to ignore them and say I’m only here for the safaris and ridge hikes, I wouldn’t be able to do the epic stuff for too much longer before wrecking my business. - Everything you do doesn’t have to be a Kodak moment. I know we often have pressure to put on the facade of a more than ordinary life for social clout but it honestly hurts more than helps. Embrace the ordinary. Do the things that don’t give a lot of accolades but push the needle forward because in the end, that’s what will open doors to the epic! - Be blessed and stay stoked😎🤙
