A breathtaking natural wonder, a massive sinkhole formed within a lush, verdant forest. Towering bamboo shoots line the circumference of the sinkhole, creating a striking cylindrical shape. At the bottom of the sinkhole lies a mesmerizing pool of turquoise water, its surface reflecting the sunlight that filters through the bamboo canopy above. In the center of the pool, a lone swimmer floats peacefully, dwarfed by the colossal scale of the natural amphitheater. The sinkhole's walls are adorned with vibrant vegetation, creating a stark contrast between the earthy tones and the brilliant azure hue of the water below.

Control vs. Growth: Surrendering for Personal Development

You can have control or you can have growth, but you can’t have both. - The more you try to control the less control you actually have. It’s a strange oxymoron but the more I live the more I find it to be true. Culture tries to tell us we’re in control. We can choose our career, our spouse, our friends, etc. giving us the illusion of control, but what happens when we can’t. What happens when we get news of a accident or we start to have random unexplainable health problems. Not to be morbid but this stuff happens and it’s completely out of our control. - If we are putting our trust in our own selves and our own control, a situation like this is bound to devastate us, because we no longer have control of the situation. At this point we have a choice, either try to grapple for control that we never had, or trust God and grow. - Growth of any kind requires humility, a teachable spirit, and surrender while control is selfish and power hungry. Growth and control and never coexist. You gotta give up one to get the other. - Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - • • • • • •
