Constraints Bring True Freedom

Constraints produce freedom. It seems like an oxymoron but let me explain. - More often than not I go to the grocery store without a list. It gives me tons of freedom to pick whatever I wan, but the problem is, because I don’t have constraints, I usually end up buying a bunch of random stuff, spending more money than I have to, and am almost always missing at least 1 random ingredient to be able to make the thing I want. - If I were to go in with a list, sure I would feel constrained in the moment, but I would have what I need so that I could have the freedom to make what I wanted later. - The same is true of life. Many people like to live life unconstrained. They don’t discipline themselves and don’t set ground rules. It feels like freedom I. The moment, but it’s actually a trap. - Set up constraints for yourself. Be disciplined, don’t follow the crowd just for the sake of fitting in. I know it feels constricting, but trust me, the freedom it gives you in the future is worth it! - Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - • • • • • •
