A breathtaking waterfall cascades down a rocky cliff, surrounded by lush greenery in a tropical rainforest setting. The waterfall's water plunges into a small, crystal-clear pool at the bottom, where a person is seen swimming and enjoying the refreshing natural oasis. The contrast between the powerful force of the waterfall and the serenity of the pool creates a captivating and peaceful scene.

Choosing Joy Despite Circumstances

The world needs more joy. - I’m not saying happiness, although it needs that too. I’m talking true joy, despite the circumstances. - We often look at joy as a result of what we are influenced by. If we are influenced by more money we will have joy when we get it. If we are influenced by a nicer house or car we will have joy when we get them. If we are influenced by a relationship, we will have joy when we are married. The problem is none of that is true. - Joy is not a result of an influence but rather an ingrained posture of the heart. Joy does not depend on circumstance, but exists despite circumstance. Joy is a choice. - Therefore if joy is a choice, it needs to be chosen daily. Despite what happens in the world, despite the news, despite what happens in your personal life, we can have joy because we know Who wins. - Also on an unrelated side note, this is officially my 1000th post! Thank you so much to everyone that has supported me throughout this journey and I can’t wait for more amazing things to come in the future! - Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - • • • • • •
