Being Professional Doesn't Mean Having It All Together
For a long time I thought being “professional” meant having it all together.
But that couldn’t be further from the truth.
You can be really good at your job and also not love every second of it (or even feel qualified sometimes 😂)
I think social media has done us a huge disservice.
You see people like me or others posting about shoots that look like a blast (and they are for the most part), but they leave out the rest of the story.
All the “NOs” it took to get the one “YES”
The constant comparison and rejection
The countless hours spent behind a computer screen
The money invested into business education
Now don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE my job and wouldn’t want to change it, but I think it would be wrong of me to not show the real real.
So if you feel any of the things I mentioned in this video just know you’re not alone. It’s literally everyone.
But…
The difference between a hobbyist and a professional is…
A professional feels those things and still delivers for the client
A hobbyist feels those things and quits
So if you’re part of the rare breed that pushes through, I share a lot of creative business tips on my page @nashhagen that may be helpful in your journey.
Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙
