Sunset Wildflower Hike

A habit I’ve noticed that separates western based northerners from southerns is checking the weather first thing in the morning. I’m down in Utah/az this winter and have become the resident weather girl in my circle because no one bothers to check the weather, expecting constant sunshine as the norm. As a person who migrated north to Alaska and Washington, we plan our whole days and weeks by and around the weather. A trait this unique southern winter has made me appreciate to the fullest to maximize planning amid strong storms and floods. “Sunshine all the time makes a desert.” I may have brought rain from the north down south with me this year, but boy have I also brought the green, blooms, flowers, and waterfalls. I love this wild western winter. The wettest in record years, and has caused so much growth. PSA I am not standing in or on 🌻🌼. I’m on a 🪨.
