A person wearing a red jacket and a blue backpack is standing in front of a unique, arched building partially buried in snow. The building appears to be a small cabin or hut, constructed with dark wooden siding and featuring large windows. On the roof, solar panels are installed, suggesting the cabin utilizes renewable energy sources. The arched shape of the building is distinct and eye-catching. Surrounding the cabin are snow-covered trees and a serene, wintry landscape. The person's posture and the snow shoes they are wearing indicate they have likely trekked through the snowy terrain to reach this remote location.

Snowshoeing to a Remote Winter Hut

Having cabin fever big time! Patiently waiting for Canadian borders to reopen to get full use of my epic pass again in Whistler, and am missing the back country huts up there. This one is nestled in Garibaldi Provincial Park and was a 17 mile out and back snowshoe to a hut that sleeps 33 in European style bunk beds. Complete with a fireplace, stovetop, and tables to hang with friends playing card games and defrosting from winter fun, these huts are an adventurers winter dream come true and great place to hang with a group when things resume to normal (or a new normal).
