Living Life to the Fullest in Baja
Sprinkled in between the grand magical moments on this journey south of the border this winter, have been micro moments packed with meaning and lasting impression.
One month in Baja has gifted us š
I went from having not played volleyball since I was 12 and a doctor telling me I would no longer grow and should quit the team I was on (I did quit and its been 25 years), to playing š daily with a group of friends, overcoming that salty chip on my shoulder from a painful childhood memory, and learning to just play and not have to be good at something or ātallā to try at and enjoy it (lol I never did grow past 4ā11)
My handstands have significantly improved and my body feels amazing with daily yoga, vitamin d, movement, organic food, and flexibility.
Weāve made so many WONDERFUL friends this month. True treasures I hope to keep and keep running into and planning to meet up with as travels continue
My slack lining is getting more fun and focused
Iām surrounded by creative talented souls, unabashed to create and share their artā¦ itās INSPIRING and contagious. I have been writing daily. Working on my website. Building my business and have been able to carve out space and time in between morning coffee surf check meetups and evening volleyball to work on my crafts alongside everyone else working towards their art and goals in this community of nomads.
Iāve gotten to witness Camilo absolutely crush it surfing. Riding some of the biggest swells Iāve seen with my own eyes and witnessing his beautiful after glow of having filled his joy cup.
Ellie šāā¬ is the happiest I have ever seen her. Itās heart warming. Sheās even holding her own amongst the community of dogs that visit the beach.
All in all weāre loving it here and its exactly what my soul ordered for a serious reset on living to the fullest and enjoying our days.
