Iconic Grand Canyon View from Nankoweap Granaries

There are numerous points of interest to stop and check out along the colorado river during a multi week rafting trip. This is the Nankoweap Granaries believed to have been built between 1000-1150 AD by the Anasazi. They’re located 700 feet above the Colorado River at river mile 53 and offer one of the most iconic views of the Grand Canyon from their perch.
