Finding Awe and Community Through Outdoor Adventures

As an adult, I’ve never felt more like a kid than in this moment. Pure play, joy, and the freedom of not caring how you look—just fully embracing the beauty of life. This is what it’s all about. Years ago, I left the corporate grind because I was unhappy, overworked, and completely drained. I dove into studying happiness, reading every book I could find. But happiness felt fleeting, like hunger—something that needed constant feeding. Then I discovered joy, a deeper sense of fulfillment that lasted a bit longer. But even joy wasn’t the final answer. I finally found something more enduring: awe and community. These two forces have a timeless impact, keeping our spirits alive and strong through the ages. Awe and community. This sport brings me both. It’s literally “awe-some,” offering some of the most stunning scenery and experiences imaginable, best enjoyed with others. These are the memories and feelings that truly last. Now, I no longer chase after happiness or joy. It’s all about finding awe and building community.
