Exploring the Limestone Caverns of Lake Shasta

The lake Shasta Caverns were an unexpected road trip delight. $30 to enter, 800 steps, a boat ride and caverns of limestone formed over thousands of years. They were filming a vampire movie during our visit, was a treat to see the set and the cast’s awesome costumes.
