Exploring Narrow Slot Canyons in Escalante

Getting deeper in Escalante for my 4th visit! I can tell I’m rusty canyoneering, had about a month+ off, but it’s so incredible to be able to explore deep in the earth and canyons of this painted and varied landscape. In some areas of this canyon, the slot was so narrow you could barely fit one foot! The weather this week is exhibiting monsoon season behaviors so we’ll see how much of our plan we’ll be able to do.
