Kym Wylder
A young woman with long blonde hair is standing on a rocky trail surrounded by vibrant yellow fall foliage. She is wearing a burgundy top, blue leggings, and hiking boots, and has a backpack strapped to her back. She is smiling joyfully and holding a stuffed panda bear wearing a red hat and blue scarf, her arm outstretched as if presenting the toy to the camera. The setting appears to be a scenic mountain trail, with boulders and fallen leaves on the ground, creating a picturesque autumn scene.

Embracing Life's Adventures After 30

Maybe she’s born with it, maybe essentialism looks best on everyone 😉 This era, in 2023, at 37, is the happiest, most peaceful, most “me” I’ve ever been. To everyone approaching 30s and feeling anxious about it, it gets better. It’s a lie they fed us that we expire after a certain age. No. We grow. Kinder, wiser, more patient, more loving, more capable, more giving, emotionally lighter, and if we’re lucky and don’t give in to the hype… more adventurous with age. In your 30’s you’ll learn to be essentially you. And find yourself wanting to reconnect with everything you wanted to grow up so fast away from when you were a kid. The things and experiences that make you feel alive and full of spark and joy. Just breathe. Life is actually quite long if you’re lucky. Pace yourself. Learn to love going slowly. Savor the moments. The days. To be still. Be mindful. Be alone. To listen to your body and intuition. To feel connected to yourself even in a crowd. And I promise you, life gets sweeter the longer it goes. To the > 30 community, what would you tell your younger self if you could? 📸: @diana.in.wanderland
