I traveled there for 2 weeks as a solo American adventurer and was astonished by how safe and cared for I felt, the wild mountainous places I discovered, the incredible world class surfing, unparalleled hot spring experiences (because of all the volcanoes), and how much there was to do and see in such a small stretch of land (smaller than Massachusetts). If El Salvador isn’t on your list, it should be.
