A vibrant and mesmerizing composition of three cylindrical forms, each exhibiting a distinct, celestial hue. The topmost form is a deep, radiant magenta, evocative of a celestial nebula brimming with newborn stars. Beneath it lies a rich, inky purple cylinder, reminiscent of the depths of the cosmos, speckled with shimmering, star-like confetti. At the base rests a captivating teal cylinder, its shimmering surface akin to the swirling, iridescent gases of distant galaxies. These three forms seem to be crafted from a stretchy, glistening material, evoking a sense of cosmic wonder and imaginative play.

Galaxy Slime: DIY Cosmic Play Dough

Travel through the galaxy with a handful of stars and colorful slime! Did you know that colors in a galaxy are created by young stars (blue and bright) or old stars (red and cooler)? Okay, now back to the slime. This stuff is stretchy, sparkly, and Out of this World!!! Supplies: 3 – 6 oz bottles of glitter glue 3/4 cup water, divided 3/4 cup liquid starch, divided silver confetti stars liquid water colors — we used purple, magenta, and teal Directions: Add the glitter glue into a bowl and stir in 1/4 cup of water. Mix well. Add a few drops of liquid watercolor to create the desired color. Add in the star confetti. Pour in 1/4 cup liquid starch and stir to combine. The slime will start to separate from the sides of the bowl — remove it from the bowl and knead with your hands until it is no longer sticky and stretches easily. Repeat to make batches of galaxy colors. Stretch the layers together to create a gorgeous galaxy effect. Play!
