Rainbow Sponge Painting Fun

We busted out all our paints and the results are amazing! This sponge painting technique is almost magical every time the sponge swipes across the page. On top of swiping, kids can also dab, smash, and swirl the sponge to make different patterns and textures as they paint without a paintbrush—how fun! Supplies: Craft paint Sponge Paper Directions: Squirt the craft paint on one side of the sponge in rainbow order (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple). Have the kids hold onto their paper and swipe the sponge across the page. They can keep swiping, swirling, or dabbing until they are done. If the sponge runs out of paint just squirt some more on and paint again. You can rinse the sponge out with water and try different color combos.
