A vibrant and whimsical crafted image depicting a lion's face, made using orange and yellow cupcake liners. The main body of the lion is formed by an orange cupcake liner with slits cut around the edges, creating a radiating, sun-like appearance. Googly eyes are affixed in the center, lending an endearing and playful expression. A smaller yellow cupcake liner serves as the muzzle. Strips of orange patterned washi tape have been used to create legs and a tail, adding a three-dimensional quality. The image is set against a white background, providing a clean canvas for the lion to truly pop. The overall effect is a delightful and imaginative craft project, perfect for children's activities or celebrating a love for the iconic Lion King characters.

Lion King Cupcake Liner Craft

We have a problem-free philosophy that will have your kids saying Hakuna Matata. I can’t decide who is more excited for the new Lion King movie, me or the kids, lol. Are you excited too? Since we are clearly big fans of lions, we made one out of paper plates and cupcake liners. Doesn’t Simba look so cute!?! Supplies: orange cupcake liners (standard size) yellow cupcake liners (mini size) orange patterned washi tape small googly eyes glue crayons black marker white paper or white cardstock scissors Directions: Invite kids to cut slits around the outside of the large orange cupcake liner. Flatten it, and then glue it down to the white paper. Glue down the small yellow cupcake liner next to the orange one. Glue 2 wiggly eyes to the middle of the orange cupcake liner. Use strips of washi tape to make legs and a tail for the lion. Invite kids to illustrate a scene around their cupcake liner lion with crayons and a black pen.
