Kids Activities
The image depicts a small red-and-white plastic toy, resembling a lizard or dinosaur, partially encased in ice cubes made from frozen water contained in a small, shallow container or tray. The ice cubes are irregularly shaped and translucent, allowing the toy to be visible through them. The surface on which the icy container rests appears to be rough and grayish-brown, possibly concrete or rocky ground. The image conveys a sense of playfulness and exploration, inviting children to engage in the activity of freeing the frozen toy from its icy encasement.

Frozen Toys Ice Activity

Too hot? We got an activity that’s so cool it’s like being in the Ice Age. Get ready to freeze your kiddos toys and let them break them out. We love ice activities during summer and need more ideas. Please share with our community, what other ways have you played with ice with your kids? SUPPLIES: Small plastic toys Small containers or ice cube trays Water DIRECTIONS: Place toys in small containers or ice cube trays. Fill with water and place in the freezer. This is always the tricky part for me…finding enough space in the freezer, lol. Once the water is frozen let kids play with the ice cubes. They can smash them with a small hammer, poor water on them, melt them in the sun or on the warm sidewalk, poor salt on them… anything they come up with (keeping safety in mind) works. This idea can be found our on our blog by searching “DINOSAUR BREAKOUT” https://kidsactivitiesblog.com/17641/games-with-ice-dinosaur-breakout/
