Kid's Faux Stained Glass Art Project

Just look how beautiful the kid’s artwork looks! Think of this project as a kid friendly way to make faux stained glass and all you need is glue, food coloring, and a small frame. We found inexpensive frames at the dollar store, you could also try your local thrift store, or big box store (like Walmart or Target). Keep reading for the directions. The results are amazing! Supplies: Small picture frames with a glass panel Food coloring Sponge brush Glue Directions: Use your sponge brush to spread glue on the glass panel. Make sure kids are careful with the edges of the glass because they can be sharp. Add drops of food coloring onto the glass. It will spread and bleed along the glue. Allow to dry overnight. Display by a window so the light can filter through all of the colors like stained glass.
