Visited one of the most impressive structures I’ve ever seen today - the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

Women are given an #abaya at the entrance which they must wear as they walk throughout the mosque. In case you’re wondering, the abaya feels lighter and cooler than you’d imagine, but yes, it’s still 100 degrees in the desert sun.

It’s impossible not to be blown away by this colossal marble structure, and the soft murmur of prayers emanating from within only add to the awe of this place. Worth all the heat and the less than 1.5 hour trip from downtown Dubai.

P.S. I look very haughty in an abaya. Kinda love it.
