Though I've now been to the Warner Brothers backlot quite a few times, mostly slightly stressed and preoccupied with work, there's always a moment in which I look around me and feel a kind of magic. •••••• Backlots and studios are not magical places on their own. PAs run around, big, square, warehouse-like buildings surround you, and obviously fake structures are propped up waiting to get decorated for the next shoot. •••••• But to a girl who fell in love with films when I was young, who can't get enough of the stories and grand illusions of film and TV - this is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
