A young woman with long, flowing hair is standing on a dirt path surrounded by lush greenery, trees, and vibrant fall foliage. She is wearing a bright blue top and dark blue pants, and has her arms outstretched as if she is embracing the beauty of nature around her. The path she stands on is lined with a metal railing, suggesting this is a hiking trail or scenic walkway. The image captures a serene and peaceful moment, with the woman appearing joyful and in harmony with the natural environment.

It's easy to take great photos of beautiful cities and natural wonders. But I've started to realize how much photography also leads you to find beautiful moments in places you might otherwise consider...well, boring. •••••• My high school town always bored me a little. If you picture classic Northeast US suburbia, you're pretty much picturing that town. Green manicured lawns, a mix of colonial and newer houses spread far apart from each other, a tiny town center with not much to do, dead after 9 PM (max) and people for the most part either locked in their houses or commuting to the city for work/fun. For a night owl like me who loves exploring and socializing, not a great place to be. •••••• But there are beautiful places and beautiful moments everywhere; I always try to look at the places I visit with a different mindset, and find things to love and marvel at even in cities and towns most people wouldn't think of visiting. •••••• So if I can find it abroad, why not at home (at A home, at least)? . . . . .
