A breathtaking display of the Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, dances across the night sky in vibrant shades of green and purple. The mesmerizing celestial phenomenon stretches across the horizon, with streaks and swirls of luminous colors illuminating the dark canvas above. In the foreground, a snow-covered landscape of trees and a frozen field creates a serene, wintry setting. Countless stars twinkle brilliantly in the sky, adding to the otherworldly beauty of the scene. This awe-inspiring sight of nature's majesty against the backdrop of a Norwegian winter night is a testament to the wonders of the universe.

What is the most stunning thing you have ever seen? •• Photographer’s regret: ALWAYS triple check your settings. •• When the Northern Lights started dancing across the sky in #Norway, it was 6 degrees Fahrenheit and I had been outside for some time. I had to wear my thin gloves so I could adjust my camera, and my hands were almost totally frozen. I took turns putting one hand under my hood and behind my neck for warmth, and then the other, so I could warm them up enough to bend my fingers again to adjust the camera, while keenly aware of the fact that my face and feet no longer had any feeling. •• As a result of these conditions, I didn’t notice that for the first five minutes of shooting, the focus was off for my photos. Probably hit accidentally by one of the fingers I could not feel 😊. As a result, the brightest Northern Lights were not captured well at all. •• It kills me a little when I have shots I missed due to my own error. But even though I didn’t capture it as well as I wanted to, this was one of the most awe-inspiring sights I’ve ever seen in my life. Which is why I am still sharing this very imperfect photo here. . . . . .
