I am applying to be Noken’s next CEO - Chief Exploration Officer! And for my application I am picking five of my favorite spots in LA. #NokenCEO
••
In my travels, I am always fascinated by local sights and culture wherever I visit. Language, history, arts, music - this is what makes exploring a country amazing for me. Learning about it.
••
As someone who grew up with music, acting and writing playing a big role in my life, I love discovering more about the local arts and music wherever I travel, as well as in hometown venues like The Wiltern. Finding spots where locals like to relax (like Echo Park Lake) or locals and tourists try on one of the favorite activities of the area (Venice Skate Park) is one of the best ways to meet people, and learn about local culture.
••
Finally, what would any city’s culture be without its science and history - which makes Griffith Observatory one of my favorite spots in LA - or its mix of diverse communities, like the Mexican style market at Olvera Street pictured here.
••
My passion for taking photos comes from wanting to tell stories; stories of a place, its people, and their culture and lifestyle. When words fail to capture these descriptions sometimes, images can be used to convey almost everything about the uniqueness of any location in the world. I want to tell these stories as Noken’s new CEO.
