In a wintry, snowy landscape, two bundled-up individuals are in close proximity to a small herd of reindeer. A woman dressed in a fur-lined coat is kneeling down, holding out a bucket to feed the reindeer, who appear to be approaching her eagerly. Another individual, likely a man, stands nearby, capturing the moment with a camera. The distinctive antlers of the reindeer are prominently visible, and the scene exudes a sense of a unique, up-close encounter with these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

You know, sometimes a photo isn’t technically good but I love it anyway. In this case, this is my “I just ran out of food but these reindeer with super sharp antlers are getting a bit too close and aggressive in their search for more” expression. •• This aside, I had a wonderful time with these reindeer outside Tromso - thanks to @tromsoarcticreindeer for an amazing day. •• I actually just wrote a blog post about reindeer herding and the life of the Sami in #Norway (link in bio). Don’t know who the #Sami are or that reindeer herding is actually a thing? Well...read up 😊 . . . .
