A smiling young woman is sitting on a windowsill in a high-rise building, overlooking the cityscape of Las Vegas. The woman has her dark hair tied up and is wearing a blue top and dark pants. She is gazing out at the breathtaking view of the Las Vegas Strip, with its iconic hotels and casinos visible in the distance, including the distinctive curved towers of the Wynn Las Vegas and the towering Palazzo resort. The buildings are bathed in the warm glow of the evening sun, creating a stunning contrast against the clear sky, which is streaked with the trails of passing airplanes. The image captures the vibrant energy and allure of the city, while also offering a serene moment of appreciation for the scenic beauty.

Living in LA for years, I’ve been to Vegas several times, but I’ve never stayed (or had the urge to stay) past 48 hours. •• However, I always want to give cities a fair shot, so I’ll ask you Vegas people or Vegas lovers this: what do you recommend to do in Vegas beyond the casinos/shows/restaurants? I’ve done a few of the surrounding hikes, so I’m thinking more in the city itself. Comment below! . . . . .
