A breathtaking vista of the rugged and majestic Yosemite National Park in California. The focal point is the iconic granite monolith known as Half Dome, its sheer face bathed in warm, golden light from the setting sun. The massive rock formation rises majestically above the surrounding snow-capped peaks and deep valleys, casting long shadows across the landscape. In the foreground, a cluster of evergreen trees and a small bush dot the rocky outcrop, providing a sense of scale and perspective. The clear, blue sky transitions into a soft, pastel gradient as the sun dips below the horizon, painting the scene in a serene and tranquil atmosphere.

“Free Solo”, the story of Alex Honnold’s ropeless ascent up El Capitan, won the #Oscar for best documentary yesterday. Have you seen it? •• This is a view of #Yosemite from Glacier Point. Though El Capitan is not fully visible, it gives you an idea of the grand scale of the landscape Honnold had to contend with. Watch “Free Solo”! . . . . #nationalparks @yosemitenps @freesolofilm
