A woman wearing a green backpack is sitting peacefully on a large rock in the midst of a serene, lush forest. Tall evergreen trees surround her, their branches forming a verdant canopy above, allowing warm rays of sunlight to filter through and illuminate the scene. The woman appears to be gazing thoughtfully, perhaps taking a moment to appreciate the tranquility and natural beauty of her surroundings. The forest floor is covered in a carpet of fallen leaves, adding earthy tones to the vibrant greens. The image exudes a sense of serenity and connection with nature.

One of the things I love about Athens is how many worlds you can inhabit just around and within the city. #discovergreece @trekking_hellas šŸ“ø: @nik_oik ā€¢ā€¢ Located just 25 miles from the city center, Parnitha, one of the four mountains surrounding Athens, is a protected national park that gives you the impression itā€™s hours and hours away from the nearest...anything. ā€¢ā€¢ Walking through the forest trails, all you hear is leaves rustling, birds chirping; all you spot is the occasional deer, stream, wild mushroom. Not until you start your descent down the mountain do you realize Athens is sprawled out in all itā€™s liveliness and chaos just below you. ā€¢ā€¢ From forested mountains, to laid back beach communities, to bustling urban centers, to the small enclaves that leave you feeling transported to tiny villages and islands of Greece momentarily until you emerge back onto the busy and loud city streets, Athens fits a hundred worlds in one incredible city. . . . . .
