NEW POST! Exploring the quiet retreat of #Parnitha right outside Athens with @trekking_hellas and @discover.greece! Something I love about both Athens and LA (which are surprisingly similar in unexpected ways) is having easy access to nature less than an hour’s drive away. But I also want to share this experience because I feel most people have a very specific vision of Greece in their minds. So while IG might be flooded with pics of whitewashed houses, sandy island beaches, and Mykonos nightlife, I want to show other sides of Greece. The mountains, the forests, the inland villages. The fact that hiking, rock climbing, skiing, and snowboarding are actually really popular activities for Greeks.
