Venice memories ❤️ and SAVE this reel for the tips below!!

Final thoughts on Venice:
*Learn to go walk like a local and zigzag past other tourists otherwise the pace will infuriate you (especially if you’re a NY walker like me)
*There’s something lovely and relaxing about being in a place with no cars. And seeing cars again will annoy you afterwards.
*Venture out at night. Most of the cruise ships have gone, the city is more relaxed, lots of local people are out and about.
*Campo Santa Margherita and the Cannaregio area are walking distance from major attractions but full of locals at night, and chill places to get drinks and dinner respectively.
*Water taxis are 50 Euro minimum - walk or use the Vaporetto (get a multi day pass).
*Put a lot of slow dining and slow spritz drinking in a scenic place on the itinerary. Don’t just rush from one attraction to the next.
*It was my third time in Venice, a relatively small city in terms of area, and you’d think I would have seen it all by now. There are still full on islands I haven’t been to (and I’ve been to Murano, Burano, and Lido), and quite a few museums and sights. I can’t wait to go back 🙌🏼
