How do you recharge yours?✨ Here are a few things I do to help me to recharge ⤵ 🌿Going outdoors—a bit of an obvious one given the nature (pun intended😝) of my page but I felt like I couldn’t leave it off the list. I’ve found that even a few minutes outside in the fresh air, rain or shine, is enough to reset my mood and recharge a bit. Get me out on an adventure though, and I’ll definitely be feeling recharged! 📚Reading—lately, most of my reading has been in the form of self-development books and is via listening to them on audible. I will often take 15-30 minutes, lie down on my couch and close my eyes and listen to a few chapters of the book I’m currently working through, calm my breathing and internally reflect on the words I’m hearing. It’s honestly become somewhat of a meditative experience for me. 🏋🏻Exercising—while physically tiring, I find exercise/movement (of any kind) to be one of the best mental resets. Doesn’t replace a good therapy session if you really need to work through something, but for balancing out the nerves and releasing stress in the moment, it’s fantastic 👨🏻🍳Cooking—I find cooking to be a bit of a cathartic experience, where I’m able to tune out and focus on making something that’s delicious. The consistent rhythm of prepping/chopping vegetables is something I’ve found to be very centering.
