A long and winding road stretches out through a dense forest, shrouded in fog and misty rain. The asphalt pavement is glistening with rainwater, reflecting the dim light filtering through the thick tree cover. The center of the road is marked with a series of yellow lines, guiding the way ahead. Tall utility poles with power lines line the sides of the road, disappearing into the hazy treeline. The atmosphere is serene yet somber, evoking a sense of solitude and tranquility amidst the damp, green surroundings.

~ [Roads] I couldn't help but pull off the road and snap a few pics as I left the Washington coast and began heading back to Oregon. I probably would have made more stops, but the far too common Washington downpour was consistent throughout the greater portion of our drive home. It's Monday again isn't it.. I often have the blues as I come out of the weekend only half rested, and not feeling like I am ready to face the new week, so here's my question for all of you amazing folks... What helps get you going on Mondays?! //
