A majestic waterfall thunders down through a lush green forest, its powerful cascades veiled in misty spray. The waterfall descends in two breathtaking tiers, the first a relatively smaller drop of around 60 feet, and the second a towering plunge of approximately 250 feet in total height. The surrounding verdant foliage adds depth and drama to the scene, with the dense trees embracing the falls in a natural embrace. A lone human figure, dwarfed by the grandeur of the waterfall, stands in awe at its base, providing a sense of scale to the immense natural wonder.

~ [scale] I haven’t posted a photo of myself for scale in a while, so I thought I would do so as the second image to show the scale of this massive falls. If you look closely at the top tier of the falls, which is tiny compared the main drop, you might be able to recognize it as the waterfall I posted yesterday. Since I couldn’t find a recorded height for the falls, my best estimate for the drop of the top tier is about 60ft, making the entirety about 250ft in its two main drops. Then there’s me, I am about 6’1/2" & the way I’m positioned in the photo in relation to the falls make it looks about half as large as it actually feels when you’re looking up through the valley at the expansive falls, pretty amazing how photographs can shift perspective & scale right?! On a side note, I love to stand as close as I can to waterfalls and hear them roar and feel the spray against my face, who else enjoys this? I know I’m not the only one! // live, laugh, love!
