A breathtaking waterfall cascades down amidst a lush, misty forest. The waterfall's rushing torrent of water plunges into a small pool below, surrounded by vibrant autumn foliage in shades of orange and yellow. Towering trees stand tall, their branches reaching towards the fog-enshrouded sky, creating a mystical, otherworldly atmosphere. The scene exudes a sense of tranquility and serenity, inviting the viewer to escape into nature's embrace.

i very rarely post this late but i’ve been working on client edits all day and i wanted to take a break and work on a little something different. I took this shot on my 21st birthday, which is almost 3 years ago now, while out adventuring with a close friend of mine, @aaronofsalem. I will often find myself coming back to this shoot and tinkering with the photo edits. It’s fun to look back on how I’ve refined and changed my editing over the past few years. It’s crazy to think I took this image with my Nikon d3200 having barely learned how to meter in order to properly expose an image. Aaron was actually the person who’d shown me metering in a way that clicked. I’m very much in a procrastinating mood, so what’s one photo, shoot, or experience that you look back on that was pivotal in your development as a creative or as a person? Feel to describe it or tag me if there is a particular photo in your feed that fits the question! I can’t wait to hear from you all, and thank you so much if you’ve taken the time to read this far!😉✌🏻
