It’s a wildly different feeling when you go from spending most of your time at home, or outdoors away from people as a choice, to spending most of your time at home without the choice to do something different, go out, or connect face to face. It has been a tough transition, I know. It’s the feeling of truly relying on yourself (or yourself and your partner/family as the case may be) to meet your own needs, and I think this is a wonderful opportunity to ground ourselves in that and embrace it! Read a book, write, mediate, wear a face-mask and watch some Netflix. Do one thing a day that you can do from home that is entirely for you, and that you have most likely been avoiding for one extraneous reason or another. It does not have to be something conventionally productive either, just take care of yourself! And... now is the best time to use social media for exactly what it was intended for, to connect us with people who we can’t see face to face! We are only as alone as we choose to be, and while it’s best to stick to ourselves physically, that shouldn’t stop us from reaching out in the many ways we have readily available to us. I may not be posting much recently, but I’m often on chatting with friends, keeping up with their work, etc. So if you ever want to chat, don’t hesitate to reach out! Oh, and if you have any book recommendations, I’m currently looking for new books (or old favorites I’ve forgotten) to read!🤗📚
