4 questions to ask yourself if you want to get started working with brands or if you want to land better brand partnerships!✅💰

1️⃣ - What type of brands do I want to work with?  Identifying the brands you would like to work with over the long-term, the ones that will most align with your style of work or service you offer is a great place to start when considering building a portfolio of work that will fits your future client’s needs. If you already have a portfolio, does your body of work fit the type of clients you want to attract? 
 2️⃣ - What services/content/value can I offer to a potential brand partner?  
Identifying the services/content you can offer and why those offerings bring value to a prospective brand is incredibly important. Content/services can include photo or video content, social media posts, copywriting, social media management, and more! Some of the value you can bring is via the quality of your work or a unique story behind your work that would relate to the client’s target audience, etc!  3️⃣ - What type of content do the brands I want to work with utilize consistently?  Identifying a brand's content needs allows you to present your services in a way that makes sense to the client. If you notice that a brand isn’t using a type of content or service that you specialize in, this can also allow you to present a new creative solution to a brand. 
4️⃣ - Does my portfolio communicate my value and skillset?  
Whether your client facing portfolio is your Instagram, website, or a media kit, the goal is to present a consistent body of work that aligns with your desired client and that can clearly communicate your value. This value can come from the quality of your content, the story-telling behind your content, and or a unique form of content you can produce.  Let me know if you found these questions helpful!
