Hi! Jhamil here— A lot of new faces have joined this journey of mine recently so I thought it would be fun to reintroduce myself and share some facts about me! 📍I grew up in Washington, and moved to Oregon for university, where I studied kinesiology and nutrition before dropping out my to pursue photography and my passion for the outdoors. I’ve lived in Oregon since then and it has become home to me. 📸 My photography journey started in 2012 and if you really scroll back you can see some of my original work, when I used to call myself “Lone Eye Photography.” I made this Instagram in 2015 as an escape the stress of university haha. 💻 In 2016 my account took off and I got some of my first brand campaigns. Since then I’ve built a portfolio of commercial work focused on styling, and capturing experiences around the brands I’ve worked that has allowed me to grow my business to where it is now—working mostly on licensing projects, and launching my coaching business to help you work towards having the same opportunities! 🤓 I briefly worked for a start up company as a social media manager, which was the only salaried job I’ve ever had It taught me a lot about how businesses operate, and that I never want to work for a boss again in my life! Haha. 🎧 I love podcasts, audiobooks and music with alternative/indie being my favorite genres. I’ll always have a soft spot for the “oldies” though. 😛 I often very silly, both on adventures and on the set of commercial shoots. I love to get people laughing, will constantly make puns and corny jokes, and just try and uplift the people I’m around! 🧔🏻‍♂️I’m 29 and I’m a single dad to my 5-year-old son, Augie, who is growing into one of the kindest, most curious, and adventurous humans that I know. 💚 My favorite color to edit, and the color I’m most known for in my work, is green! 🥾I’m the happiest when outdoors, and creating, but I also love to cook, write poetry, draw, paint, play board games, dance, and more!
