Zoom Wedding Mishaps and Tips

💍
While we absolutely loved the way our Zoom wedding turned out, there were a few mishaps that popped up — mainly with Zoom itself.
😝
You see, we thought we were clever putting my phone on a tripod to record the ceremony and then keeping Andy’s phone in his pocket to use as a microphone so everyone could hear.
🤭
The problem? He didn’t have his video started, so if you weren't Zoom-ficient (new word!) all that you saw was a still image of Andy’s hat (his Zoom default photo)!
😭
I also totally forgot that we weren’t on WiFi at the park, and left the Zoom on for way past the ceremony — and went over my monthly data. Oops!
😖
Finally, because we are procrastinators who are always late, we almost forgot a few important items (eh hem, Andy’s shirt!), but luckily remembered last minute. Avoid that by laying out everything the night before.
🤣
And on that note, I’m off on my mini-honeymoon! Get excited for photos and stories from atop New York’s tallest mountain, Mount Marcy. 😍 #BeyondTheGuidebook
