Additionally, I use my email list to send myself traffic.⁠ ⁠ ✳️ Selling products (including my travel blogging courses/membership + my NYC photo tours & itinerary planning). Consider the problems your audience faces and how you can solve them with a product—and also solve them through your free content like your blog posts & opt-in freebies. This way, you’re attracting the people who will truly benefit from what you have to offer.⁠ ⁠ ✳️ Affiliate marketing. Keep in mind, your blog posts aren’t the only place you can promote affiliate links. Also consider social content, emails, podcast episodes, and even your products. Just always make sure to disclose!⁠ ⁠ ✳️ Sponsorships. Often, we think of Instagram & TikTok as the places where sponsorships take place, but really consider all the places you’re active and where you have the most engagement. For instance, my most popular sponsorship placements are my email list & podcast!⁠ ⁠ ✳️ Speaking. This is a revenue stream that kind of snowballed for me once I started doing it. I think the most important things to focus on if you want to get paid to speak are to a) position yourself as an authority on your topic and b) aim to become very visible.
