Jessie on a Journey
The image depicts a woman sitting cross-legged on a bed, facing away from the camera. She has long, dark hair and is wearing a black sports bra or crop top with straps crossing in the back. Her back is exposed, revealing several small tattoos. She is also wearing patterned leggings in shades of pink, purple, and black with a tie-dye or abstract floral design. The room has white walls and a large window in front of the woman, letting in natural light that creates a warm, glowing ambiance. The bed is covered in white linens, and there are white throw pillows visible. The overall scene conveys a sense of calm and relaxation, possibly suggesting a meditation or self-care practice.

Self-Care Tips for Travelers

How do you practice self-care while traveling? 🥰 True story: for YEARS I convinced myself that I didn't "have time" for self-care. Plus, how helpful could it really be anyway? 🙄 Spoiler: extremely! 🤯 Because while we always think of the big trips and events as our life's milestones, the truth is that your average days all add up to tell the story of your life, too. Therefore, it's essential to design *every day* to maximize your happiness. 🥳 One of my favorite little practices I do is a candle-gazing meditation. Personally, I find guided meditations distracting, but being able to focus on a flame (or another travel-friendly object) helps me concentrate so much easier. 🕯️ I also incorporate crystals -- which you can see for yourself in a video I created sharing 10 self-care tips and rituals for travelers -- though these can absolutely be practiced at home, too. 🤗 You can swipe up in my IG Stories to watch the video or DM me for the link. 🎥 Then, I'd love to know in the comments what your favorite self-care rituals are (so that we can empower each other to make every day worth looking forward to just as much as we do our trips!). #BeyondTheGuidebook
